Returns / Refunds
RETURNS/REFUNDS
Please inspect your items when you receive them. For fabrics, please check you are happy prior to beginning to manufacture.
The following terms and conditions cover the situations where either
(a) the goods are faulty or damaged, or there is a shortfall, on delivery; or (b) you change your mind and wish to return non-faulty goods.
(a) The goods are faulty or damaged, or there is a shortfall.
In the event that goods purchased from Ian Sanderson are faulty, damaged or there is a shortfall, we will be happy to replace at no further charge as long as we are notified within 14 days of receipt and the goods are returned to Ian Sanderson within 21 days. No claim will be accepted outside this time limit. Any re-delivery is subject to the safe return of any faulty or damaged goods or (as appropriate) the provision by you of such proof of a shortfall as we may reasonably require. Where we accept liability to provide replacement goods we will refund any reasonable postage charges incurred by you in returning any goods. Please obtain proof of postage.
Goods are returned to us at your own risk.
Other than as set out above we accept no liability in relation to faulty or damaged goods, or any shortfall, on delivery. In no event shall our liability exceed the value of the goods in question. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Fabrics: In the event that fabrics purchased from Ian Sanderson are faulty, we will be happy to replace at no further charge. Receipt of faulty goods should be notified to us within 14 days of receipt and returned to Ian Sanderson within 21 days of receipt. Cost of returns will be covered with Ian Sanderson.
Accessories & finished products: In the event that an accessory or finished product purchased from Ian Sanderson is faulty, we will be happy to replace at no further charge. Receipt of faulty goods should be notified to us within 14 days of receipt and returned to Ian Sanderson within 21 days of receipt. Cost of returns will be covered with Ian Sanderson.
(b) Returns
Fabrics: Due to the bespoke length / quantity that you have ordered we are unable to issue refunds on items that have been cut to your required length or made especially for you unless they are faulty. This is why we always recommend ordering samples of fabrics before placing an order. Do not cut the fabric, trimming or wallpaper until you are entirely happy with the product supplied. We cannot accept returns if you have over or under ordered so check with your manufacturer the quantity you require before ordering.
Lampshades: Returns of lampshades will be accepted providing they are in their original packaging (including cellophane wrapping which has not been removed), unused and in a fully resalable condition. You must inform Ian Sanderson of your intention to return goods within 14 days of receipt. Cost and responsibility of the return must be covered by the customer. Bespoke lampshades are non-refundable unless faulty. Please note that device screens are not representative of colour, therefore we recommend using our sample service prior to purchasing a lampshade.
All other items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned undamaged and in original packaging. We can arrange collection at additional cost.
Post and packaging costs are non-refundable unless the product is faulty.
